元Stupids、そしてK-LineのEd WennによるB級メロディック。
同時代に活動していたPerfect Dazeに近いモノを感じるショボくれ具合。
また、アコースティックを中心としたアンサンブルや
そのアコースティックを活かしてのカントリー風味な曲もあり、
多岐にわたるルーツを感じさせます。ただ、音源を通して聴くと
全体的にボンヤリとした印象が拭えないのも事実。
他のB級と言われるバンドに比してリリースした音源が多いために、
未だに自分が1つ1つを丹念に聴けていないのも、その一因か。
自分は、いつも迷う事があるのです。
世間から無視される徒花だからB級なのか、
それとも、奏でられる音自体がB級なのか。
鶏が先か、卵が先かという命題にも似た難解な問い。
でも本当は、そんなB級だからどうだこうだって括り自体が
自分の勝手な妄想であるというのが正解なんでしょうけど。
さて、以下の音源以外にも数多くのV.Aに参加しておりますが、
正直に言って、自分はその半分も把握出来ていないと思います。
そんな中でも印象的だったのは「PSSST」でのSnuffのカバーでしょうか。
「Not Listening」と「I See」をメドレーで披露。
特に「Not Listening」は、アコースティックで始まってから、
ある点を境として原曲まんまのアレンジに移行していく辺りが聴き物。
