80年代の終わりから現在に至るまで活動を続けるRed Letter Day。
このバンドは、The Sectとのスプリットで名前を知ってらっしゃる方が殆どである事でしょう。
自分もRed Letter Dayがリリースした全ての音源を持ってはいないのですが、
ドイツに同名のバンドがいたり、The Get Up Kidsの曲名で同じ物があったりで
紛らわしく検索もしにくいと思われますので、ここは一通りの音源を紹介しておこうかと。
以下の音源以外.では、Underground Rockers」(Linkからの英国盤ではVol.1)に
「Great Wall Of Leicester」と「23/23」の2曲を収録。
この2曲はThe SectとのスプリットLPに収録された曲と共に
1stアルバムの再発盤でボーナストラックとして加えられています。
アルバムは日本国内では1st LPの再発盤CDと、
ベスト盤「Chance To Meeting」くらいしか流通していないみたいですが、
海外の市場では全ての作品が新品で入手出来ます。
シングルの方もIncogniteの333枚限定などの例外を除いて、
海外市場で安く購入する事が出来るようです。
また、シングルの表題曲はベスト盤の方に全て収録されており、
モノによってはEPの曲がまるごと収録されているので
初めての方はベスト盤か1stアルバムの再発から手を付けてみてはいかがでしょうか。
この2つは国内で流通している事もありますし。HMVやアマゾンでも取り扱ってくれているみたいです。
