アルバムをリリースする頃にThe DestructosからLos Destructosに変名。
そして、改名後のアルバムは素晴らしいモノとなっております。
Stinking Polecatsとのスプリットでは相手方に押され気味だったのが信じられない程の出来栄え。
まぁ、でも、このスプリットはStinking Polecatsがカッコ良過ぎるから仕方無いとも言えますけど。
あー、それに、このスプリットに入ってるDestructosの「Wherever You Went」は大好きな曲の1つです。
アルバムは、1曲目の「Cash War」で初っ端から暴れ狂うヴォーカルと演奏。
荒々しさとポップさが融合した数々の曲の中でも8曲目の「All Shut Down」から
9曲目の「Numb」、さらには10曲目「Comfort In Mediocrity」への流れが自分のお気に入りであります。
ウォーウォーコーラスが飛び出す、そのまんまの曲名「Joey Ramone」も良いなぁ。
V.Aでは、「The Best Punk Rock In England My Friend」で「Sick Bed」、
Speedowaxからの7"V.A「Punk Rock Disc 2」で「Eyes Brew」、
S.I.D.からのV.A「Hangin' Out With The Stupid Kids 2」で
「Taking Its Toll」と、「All Shut Down」(共にアルバムとはバージョン違い)の2曲を収録しています。
また、「Thank You Very Max!」では「Eye Brew」と、「Sick Bed」の2曲を提供。
「Eye Brew」はSpeedowaxのV.A.とはバージョン違い、
「Sick Bed」はSnuffy SmileのV.Aとはミックス違いになってます。
UK BaseからのV.A.「Amped Up And Ready To Go」では
アルバムの核となった曲「Point Of Existence」を収録。こちらはアルバムと同じテイクかな。
さらにはファンジンのオマケに付いているテープや7"にも幾つか参加しているようなのですが、
こちらは詳しい事が分かりませんでした…すいませんです。
音源は入手困難な物が多いですが(あ、Stinking Polecatsとのスプリットは探せば見つかりそうな気もします)、
